If the wheel wobbles it may be the cones are loose (these are the next bolts along from the nuts that hold the wheel on and they have a locking nut) so these need to be adjusted to stop any play in the spindle whilst still allowing free rotation of the spindle then the wobble should have gone .

How do I get the back wheel to stop wobbling and rubbing the side of the mower?

Hello. My guess is that if the wheel is not bent or broken around the spokes and is snug on axle, then you have a wheel bearing out. Simple to find and replace. Good luck.

My back tired on drivers side of my mercury mountaineer 2006 is wobbling back and forth

Make sure wheel nuts are tight. If they are you may have broken/seperated belts in the tire. Have the tire inspected. If ok I would check for loose wheel bearing/hub assembly.

1996 Subaru has a loose tire

wobbling back and forth, could mean a tie-rod needs replacing. Try moving it up and down. If it wobbles up and down also then it probably is the wheel bearing!

The front wheel of my yamaha 80 wobbles when I am riding my bike. what is wrong

There can be two issues related to this problem.
The front wheel can be off balance on the bike. This means you will need to balance the wheel using a wheel balancer.
Secondly the wheel bearing could be faulty and result in wobble. You will need to check the front assembly fully, check the suspension and shaft.

The front wheel wobbles when it's on swivel, what

The wobbling front wheel problem is easily solved. Simply remove the two philips screws from the plastic cap covering the from wheel assembly on the foot plate. (Where the break cable goes into the swivel tube) Now tighten up the large black nut with a spanner, replace the black cap and your done!

Side to side wheel play

It could be an indication of a bad wheel bearing assembly. Did you check the lug nuts to be sure they are tight? It could also be the tie rod assembly. I would take off the wheel and try to move the just the hub assembly. Do you hear any screeching/squealing noises? Any popping while you are driving? Are your tires wearing? All these are classic signs of a bad wheel bearing. Any decent tire/auto shop can put your car on a lift and check the wheel bearings.

Front wheels noisy and wobbles

You have a serious problem.

Check lug nuts for tightness first.

If not that then take to mechanic, as you may need CV joints (constant velocity).
