a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: my calculator has a funny format
Try pushing and releasing [f], then . This will give you 4 decimal places. (It follows that if you want 5 decimal places, push 5 instead of 4, etc). If that doesn't work, you can try taking the batteries out and putting them back in which should reset it to 2 decimal places, then set it where you want it following the above.
If it continues to malfunction I suggest taking the batteries out for 24 hours to allow a static discharge. This will lose anything you stored in the calculator, setting it back to how it came from the factory.

Did you set up the simple plan through the ez set up? QuickBooks will automatically default to the USUAL settings -ie employee portion is only taxable at the state and local level)
You might want to check how you have it set up. To do this
Go into the edit payroll item, click through until you find the screen for Taxes and select the items that are affected by the contribution (check with your state and local taxing authorities to see if you need to withhold for the employee portion)

I'm uncertain whether you need further assistance, but I found this info regarding the Lump Sum Method, on Peachtree Support:
When the employee is given their annual amount, you enter the number of hours as a positive number in the vacation field. On the check stub, the YTD column on the vacation line reflects their current balance. When they use vacation hours, you enter them as a negative number in the same field. That automatically reduces the YTD balance of vacation on their stub.
If that is what you are doing, and the YTD balance isn't changing, then I would run Data Verification from the File menu.
Hope this helps.
