Question about HP 2133 Notebook PC
This most likely means your audio driver is not functioning properly. Go to right click on "my computer", then "properties.
On the "hardware" tab, click "device manager", then look for your audio driver under "audio device".
If there is a question mark or exclamation mark, then it means your driver is not functioning properly.
Try re-installing ONCE AGAIN (I know), but use hp's support/driver download here:
here, look for your model number, then under "audio/sound" or similar to that, download the driver and re-install it.
