How do I get distance from opener will only open whenupclose?

Has it always been that way, or just recently.
Most garage doors will open for about 100 or 200 feet away.

If it just started, you can replace the remote battery.

Hope this helps.

Netgear65 n750 not effective 40 ft. away

If the router has "N" value it should run a good distance away, even to the neighbors home. If "G" 30 Feet to 50 feet max.
40 Feet is difficult if passing through thick walls or steel buildings. If it is not an "N" router, then you need that or an Extender system. See TigerDirect for hardware replaements.

2001 Silhouette didn't pass inspection because of CO2 sensor. Availability? Easy to replace?

Do you mean the O2 sensor? This is located on the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter. If you get the vehicle safely off the ground a few feet then you should be able to replace it with a 7/8 combination wrench. Make sure there anti-seize on the threads of the new sensor, which is available at any auto parts shop.

I need to adjust the headlight beam on my 04 chevy tahoe. there passed inspection but the beams arent' lighting the road properly.

If it passed inspection, technically the beams are aimed properly.....that is part of the required inspection.

Take it back to where it was inspected and have them correct it.

Inform them that they passed your vehicle without checking the headlights.....I'm sure they want to keep their inspection license :)

2000 windstar horn

Obviously replacing it might help but horns nearly always have an adjustment screw on the case, in a place that is clearly not used for mounting or electrical connection. They have a nut to secure the screw once adjusted so should be easily recognizable. This screw is actually a grounded internal contact and the adjustment may need to be made after years to cause the horn to oscillate again. I suggest you do this outside of town and wearing some kind of hearing protection and spray a little penetrating oil (WD-40 or similar) on the described screw & nut. Loosen the nut, turn the screw very slightly in or out to adjust. Once adjusted, carefully secure the screw with the nut. This will almost surely change the adjustment you just made so you may have to repeat the cycle several times before it is satisfactory.

I did not pass smog due to the amount measured for the hc [ppm] test read to high it reads at 711 at 15 mph and 767 at 25 mph what can i do to fix this?

Well, if you didn't pass a state inspection, I can tell you how you may be able to work around it. Depending on state laws for car inspections.....I'll just give you an example: My fiance's car didn't pass inspection, but as long as she paid AT LEAST $200 to try and fix the problem, they HAVE to give her an inspection sticker for the year. We are in NC. Find out the law in your state, if you can't figure out the problem and need an inspection, spend the minimum trying to fix for'll have a year to figure it out.
