2004 kia a/c fuse melted now i have no a/c and cant replace fuse

Hey Dale, a melting fuse is a serious problem..For a fuse to melt, there is a LOT of current, ABOVE what that particular system is designed to carry.. in an ideal situation, ; the fuse would have blown and not melted..(did you put in a higher rated fuse to try and over ride the issue???)..ooppsss...
Dale, you have an issue that need a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL to repair...

My 1998 zero turn encore mower is dead

Cause: If the fuse itself has not blown but the fuse holder has melted, it indicates that the equipment is not drawing excessive current, rather that the fuse holder was making poor contact with the fuse. Heating in an electrical circuit is always caused by current flowing through a resistance. See if can find some electrical contact cleaner and clean. I would go a box auto parts store and see if they have it.--Autozone O'Reilly Auto Parts

No brake light .turn signals or blinkers everything else fine whats up

Most Honda bikes of the 1980's had small fuse boxes with 3-4 fuses at the most. Usually 1 for ignition and charging, 1 for Headlight Only, and 1 for All other lights. Overheated and even melted fuse blocks are commonplace in these years due to high current draw and the plastic block which melts and distorts over time, breaking the circuit to the lights. Replace all 3 or 4 circuits of the old fuse block with modern in-line blade-type fuses and this will never happen again. (If the fuses are all good, and the plastic box is not melted or burnt, you may have a bad Ignition Switch, but this is rare)

My dryer will not turn on, there is current to electric plug.

The thermal fuse is located on the back side of the dryer. If you see lint built up that fuse can be melted. If it is melted then the motor won't run because that fuse is in the same circuit as the door switch. So if the fuse is good look for a bad door switch.

I have a 82 gl 1100 goldwing. The previous owner

The fuse on the starter solenoid is the main fuse for the bike. If that fuse was removed and replaced with a wire, you could melt down the entire harness or even burn up the cycle. The short that was popping the fuse has probably melted part of the harness or popped fuses in another part of the bike. Start checking in the main fuse box in the fake tank for shorts. Also check the solenoid with the main fuse for melt down, good luck.

Fan fuse keeps burning out

I would think the fan motor is drawing too much current, causing the fuse housing to melt.

Amp heats up quickly, melts fuses and shut down after a while

It sounds like the power cable you have may be too small. If you're using an 8 gauge for both the power and the ground, try switching to a 4 gauge for both.
