Question about Philips Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a Philips 32" LCD TV, model #32PF7321D/37, and have lost the AC power cord. I live in an isolated area and am not able to buy another Philips cord. However, I have obtained a 'generic' cord which will fit. What I need to know from you is this: does the flat side of the cord end (which will go into the TV) match the polarized pin of the plug which will go into the wall socket? And also, when I plug the cord into the AC receptacle of the TV, do I match the flat side and round side as shown in the AC receptacle of the TV?

If you are going to use a power cord, there's no need for you to worry about the polarity. Once the power cord fits to the TV, it should match to the plug which will go to the wall socket.

Yes, you have to match the flat side and the round side in the AC receptacle of the TV.

Have a good day ahead!

I have a Philips Ambilight 32 PFL 7623D model and the bulbs on one side of the tv are no longer working. Are they easy to get a replacement and if so where from and approximately how much??

It is unlikely that all the bulbs have failed at once and more likely that the ballast unit for that side has failed.
If they are available as a spare part they will be listed on ebay as the bakkast unit for your model/size TV or on the manufacturers web site through an authorized repair centre.
Hope that helps.

After turning of the TV for a few minutes, it won't turn ON. The power LED turns green for a second and then becomes red and flashes, Philips Model 32PF7321D/37

grodmx74, You or electronics technician will need to find the "thermally-intermittant-hair-line-fracture" of a component soldered to the switch-mode-power-supply printed circuit board with aid of large magnifing glass or use a 10x or 20x inspection microscope, and then resolder the connection. 12fixlouie

47" Philips LCD TV will not stay on and show a picture.

Your mainboard needs to be replaced.

You can get one on ebay and replace it or get someone who can do that for you.

if you still have guarantee, it is covered, if not you will need to buy it.
