How do you shut it off or do es it just shut its self off.

I understand that your Frigidaire electric oven, model# es 200/300, will not shut off. I also see that it gets very hot, way past the set temperature. First, make sure you have not put it into the self-cleaning cycle. If it is not in the self-cleaning cycle, I suggest resetting your appliance, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, you will need to set the clock before starting any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Could be several things: if the computer is not receiving enough cooling air, it can shutdown to self protect. Another possibility, is the condition called "Vapor lock", where the engine does not receive liquid fuel because of the heat causing it to vaporize, specially if the fuel regulator has problems. Another could be the ignition coil failing when overly hot. ]without more info, it is impossible to know.

You left something disconnected,Is the MAF (mass air flow) sensor plugged on,How about the air duct?

Ok. Open the door and find the oven light switch(es) (some models had two switches). Press the switch(es) in and see if the latch goes back to the home position. If not enlist a volunteer to turn on the self clean cycle while you are holding the switch(es) in. Just after the self clean starts have them hit cancel and wait until the lock comes back to it's "home" or unlocked position.

Asked a local independent Toyota/Lexus repair shop.

He suggested checking battery cables at both ends to assure tight fit.

Positive cable was ever so slightly loose.

Tightened all cables. Will see if that solves problem.

I would take it to a certified mechanic the motor is located under the seat and would be a risky job to do your self. hope this was helpful you have a great day.

it may have something to do with getting gas to the right places.
