Question about Dream Maker Spas Dream Maker Spa - Eclipse Silver with Cover

1 Answer

I have a dream maker eclipse spa. I am getting an SN error message. I know this means there is somthing wrong with the sensors. I have replaced the sensors as well as the control module on top of the spa. I have inspected the control box and both fuses are good and there is no sign of surge damage that I can see. Can anyone tell what I need to do to fix this. Thanks

If you have replaced the hi limit sensor and the temperature sensor, and you are sure they are good, then the only thing left for this symptom is a bad circuit board.

Image739 hot tub turn power on and error code 5n comes on panel board what is code 5n and where is reset button

OK, 5n is meant to say SN meaning sensor. This is refering to your temperature sensor, and means that the computer thinks that the sensor has failed.

Check to see that it is plugged into the board completely, then verify that it is not chewed up by a mouse or rat. Both of these are the most often seen problems.

I have a comfort spa portable hot tub with the pump housed within I am hearing a clicking noise and the dispaly shows the temperature readings ascending and the error code sn - what is the problem

This indicates a sensor failure. Either the temperature sensor has failed, or it has become disconnected from the control unit. If you find that it is still in place, replace the sensor.

I have a Dream Maker Eclipse spa. We just had the pump replaced, but the tub is getting TOO hot that we cannot even get in it. We opened the housing and see 2 metal heat sensors but they are not attached...

The readout may be getting it's temperature from one of those sensors that are hanging in mid-air, not surprisingly low. Both sensors have to be somewhere that they can read some water temp. One of them probably goes into the piping before the heater so it can tell actual water temperature. The other MAY go in piping after the heater in the event of high water temp, it will shut the heater off. Look for a schematic in and around the spa.

We are getting the error message of NON FUNCTIONAL HIGH TEMP SENSOR. Does anyone know how to fix this on the Dream Maker Spa B6L series?

Not much to go on but try opening the drain valve for a few seconds. If you have an air lock this give you a high temp code. When you open the drain it will break the air lock and start it pumping again.

Did you replace both temp sensors or just one? Did you make sure that the new sensors are the same model? If you did replace both sensors with the correct ones, the main board is bad and will have to be repaired or replaced. The actual manufacturer of your controller can provide limited technical support for someone who has the ability to use a multi-meter and test a few components at the spa over the phone.

Plugged in our EZ Spa for first time - panel shows 'SN'

Open your drain for a moment till you get water or force water into the skimmer. If you have an air lock in the pipes this will stop the spa from working.

I have a dream maker and my heater will not turn on. I had this problem once before when I drained it. However I cannot get the SN error code to go away. Any help would be great

Dream Makers do not have traditonal heaters. You may have an airlock. Look for a plug on top of the pump or some part of the plumbing, loosen to let the air out.
