If your firmware is below 05.00.08.01
Then it won't get detected by windows 7. You will need firmware upgrade. Else, just go to www.satoworldwide.com and download the windows printer driver.

check baud rate on NIC card (pull out NIC), against COM settings on PC. they must match. 9600 usually works

SOURCE: my network can't detect the new sato cl408e we just purchased.

1.Log into router
2. Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off)
3.Note router name you are connecting to.
4.. Check the laptop,desktop,printer do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses.
5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address.
6.Note router name you are connecting to.
7. Move the device about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet.
This is for all routers to set up wirelessly.

Hello my SATO CL408e can't install USB DRIVER (Win 7x64)

It won't auto install that driver you need to download the driver and install it manually.

This is assuming that widows correctly identifies the printer, if it says unknown device you may have a defective USB card.

Cannot Print Correctly on Sato CL 408e Printer

I recommend that you use the drivers from www.seagullscientific.com, they have the best drivers and let you adjust all the printer settings.
