I have a 1993 mercury' marquis. The floor boads of the front part of the car get hot. And the thermostat keeps falling to c and rising to half way and falling on gage. Can u please help?! Thanks

possible no water in the engine and it is overheating
this is indicated by the temp gauge rising and falling
temp gauge sender units need to be immersed in water full time to get a reading so if it goes up that is in water and when it falls back that is in nothing or steam
hot engine would account for hot floor

Summarize how the overharvesting of a single species,a baleen whale, can affect an entire ecosystem

Different whales frequent different areas, and when they die they bring alot of energy to the bottom of the ocean where light cannot penetrate and therefore plants cannot live. A whale carcass can last for a decade and provide a meal to thousands of different creatures, like the one mentioned in the video who is specialised in eating whale bones. If no whales die, and fall to the bottom of the ocean, these creatures starve, and so, in turn, do the creatures that prey on them.

Baleen whales eat mostly krill. Krill eats algae, which is essentially turning sunlight into food.
So therefore whales are moving energy from the top of the ocean to be bottom.

Also sharks and orca prey on on a baleen whales calves, and there are fish they live in a symbiotic relationship with the sharks, like the ones that eat barnacles and parasites off the skin and gills of the whale.

I have a garmin gpsmap 440s that will only read sonar depths a no wake speed. When I increase speed much past this the depth number blinks but does not track or change until I slow back down to idle again....

Sounds like the transducer is installed at the wrong angle or in such a way that it is getting a lot of air from something on the hull. If it is a transom mount, check that it is angled correctly and not too close to the motor or aft of some kind of thru-hull fitting that will cause turbulence.

Bread is falling during baking

I had this same problem. It has to do with the amount of water and the amount of yeast you are using. I decreased my amount of water to 1 cup ( of course it depends on your recipe) and I also was using rapid rise yeast which calls for a less amount (usually 1/2 tsp less than what the recipe calls for). I did experiment with the recipe until I got it just right. Good luck. Carrie

Sonar not working properly, intermittent

Generally, that indicates air bubbles in the water under the transducer. If you have a transom-mount transducer, make sure the bottom surface is level or angled slightly down. If you have a thru-hull, make sure your bottom is fairly clean in that area.

Water keeps going and going and going!

the water is draining back to the ocean. The drain hose was not emptied properly from its last use. Put the machine in spin cycle (about 5 minutes) only to spin out the water from the outer tub completely and retry washer. If still problem, then visual check drain hose that it still has a "rising" section higher in altitude than the water level of inner tub (when working properly) before it makes a U-turn downward to send back to the ocean. You can also test the drain hose by putting machine in fill mode and crimping off the hose (fold hose over) to simulate a good drain hose. At this test, you should not "feel" water running through the hose if successfully crimped.
