SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: dryer will not start

There is a start relay on the computer control board. You probably hear a very dull click. That click is the relay on the computer board trying to engage, but it won't and therefore your dryer won't spin and your board sends a beep and perhaps an "E11" error code to the LED display (Not sure on Kenmores.).

In plain english, you have a bad control board now and will have to replace it. Cost about $130.

SOURCE: cuts out and stops sometimes after 30 min. or so

check your fuel delivery system. It sounds like a blocked filter, failing pump or a restriction in the fuel line.

SOURCE: Mower runs for about 20 minutes cuts off. Acks

After trying to crank it, pull the spark plug out. You should see residue of gas or smell gas. If you don't it is a fuel problem. Check the spark plug and make sure it is good. Clean it with a wire brush. Gap the spark plug and reinstall. I normally put a new spark plug in. Sometimes the flywheel gets rusty. It needs the rust knocked off with a wire brush. You take off the cover off the engine. The flywheel is made of plastic and metal piece on sears. You brush the metal piece (magneto). ( You also have a safety switch on mowers. I don't know how to tell you to check them.)

SOURCE: My unit started beeping continually, I changed batteries, but

  • Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
  • Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.
I contacted customer support... they tell me the FAQ information on their own website is incorrect. The opposite is true, therefore the following is correct:
  • If it does not beep, the powerboard needs to be replaced
  • If the unit continues to beep, the keypad needs to be replaced
Here in Canada, they will send you a new one within 3-5 days free of charge. Call customer support:

Canada: 800-501-9471
US: 800-677-LOCK

The woman was very friendly. Great customer support!

One long beep and two short beeps

I believe that is a Pheonix bios and the beep code you gave indicates motherboard problems.

Sylvania p70d20al-d5 microwave keeps beeping

I have the same problem with my microwave, the clock disappears and it says "enter" and "amt", I figured out it's the "beverage" button that is sticking. When I want to use it I just press "beverage" and then "reset" and just press them over and over until it stops. Usually it's on the first try, sometimes I have to press them a few times. Just don't do what I'm about to type though, I decided to get my razor knife and cut the button out carefully, I only cut the contacts on each side of the button, now no buttons work, I should have left it the way it was, at least I could use it that way.
