My washing machine ARISTON AVTF 129 keeps displaying error code F-16. What's wrong?

SOURCE: error message: water tap closed .

check water inlet valve clean of rubbish from water inlet hose
otherwise water inlet valve maybe faulty

my washing machine displayed F--05 and water is not going out, I clean the pump and start the machine but the water is not going out. wHAT TO DO?

F-12 is a drain problem.

Check if the drain hose is free, if cycle stops and gives you f12 without draining the water, there is a problem with the drain system.

The Hotpoint should have a removable paner at the back on the lower side. The panel gives access to the pump. If cleaning the drain hose does not solve the problem, the pump must be removed and cleaned or replaced.The repair should be done by a technician.

F02 is a indication that the motor has jammed, and or the tacho has come loose or broken.
The tacho is the magnet at the end of the motor away from the pulley., check this first, you may have to have a new motor fitted.
