If the temp in the 50/60 . To little info Freezer stop working. The first thing in Freezer side to melt is Ice Cream and Fish. 1st thing on freezer to check is the (Ice) Damper door closing all the way. Place a towel on floor and one when you get the ice. Get a 1/2 coffee cup of water pour in the shoot on top of the damper flapper if it hold water This is good. Close the door and remove the water by get ice. If the water pours out Not Good Replace the Damper assembly. It is letring in air and will freeze the evap up . 2nd there may be ice blocking the fan from turning. Bad sensor. Call Samsung get a tech out.

What does blinking temp bar lights mean on RS261 side by side. No response from display

It is telling you the temperature is out of range. Put a thermometer in it and it should be below 40F 4.5C and above 32F 0C.

How to remove dispenser control panel rs261

I just figured this out. You have to insert a flat blade and pry down and out to release 4 clips along the top of the panel. Work across the top from one side to the other. Eventually it will come loose. After that, 4 Phillips head screws hold the ice and water dispenser in. You may want to remove the freezer hinge cover and disconnect the wide electrical connector before you do this.7cd64856-a478-4204-a8a8-9b0accb8d00a.jpg

I have a Samsung RS261 fridge whit a blinking light. None of the button selections are working. What does it mean when it's blinking?

It is out of synch. Try unplugging the refrigerator or turn off its circuit breaker for 10 minutes or so to see if it resets itself.

The top half is not cold even though I've turned the dial right up it still doesn't work. The bottom part, being the freezer is fine what could be the problem. Thanks.

Make sure you don't have something blocking the air flow vents between both the frrezer and refridgerator.
We had milk spoiling on us at a rapid rate. The store owner was kind enough to replace as we thought it was the milk but it turned out my wife had a box against the vent preventing cold air from entering

No cooling in refridgerator

is freezer cooling?
a possible cause is build up of ice on the evaporator. take off the back panel in the freezer and check. also check the fan is working. if there is excessive ice build up, this can mean that the defrost system is not working. in any case, if there is ice build-up, carefully melt the ice off with a hairdryer
