Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Date setting on Citizen 0510 chronograph

Try this method. Set the date until it reads a couple of days in the past and then set the correct time. Of course do not touch your date or time settings between the hours of 9PM-1AM. Wait until the next day, then move the hour hand forward until you reach the current date with the correct time.

A correction from the last post, you don't need to do All RESET. Read the section right below that. You put the needle on CHR, pull out the dial and set calibrate the hands without resetting the whole thing.

How to re set time day and date on watch ceo drive citizen

If the watch says perpetual calendar or atomic time or world time on the face then you will have to go through a series of steps according to the watch. If you go to Citizen watch.com and go to the very bottom of their page you can find setting instructionand type in your watch number and you can find out how to set it.

I have an older citizen promaster - 410487 5862-F80103TA - the alarm wont turn off

The alarm-setting process for your Citizen Promaster watch is similar to the process used to set the time and date. Access the Alarm mode on your watch by pressing the bottom left button until "AL" is displayed. Use the watch's bottom left button to advance the flashing and the buttons on the right side of the watch to set the alarm to the desired time. If that doesnt help, then I would HIGHLY suggest you ask Citizen at their website as follows: http://www.citizenwatch.com good luck
