That tool comes standard with a keyless chuck so all you should have to do is grip the collar and turn it to loosen bit. If it is stuck you might try a rag of some sort on the collar and use the motor to loosen it up. Let me know if you need more help.

What is the best lubricant to use on my dewalt hammer drills please

It depends to where you want to apply your lubricant.
If you want to lubricate the chuck with the sds drill bit you simply add some cheap grease on the drill bit and the drill bit will slide easily on the chuck. On the other hand if you want to lubricate the sds drill machine then there is a special type super grease that you can buy from Dewalt in order to do so. Also since in order the super grease to be needed this means that you have used the drill a lot then also is needed to change o-rings, brushes and so on. So usually you have to ask for a service center to do it since they know how to do it properly and using the right kit.

DeWalt DW995 Type 1 cordless drill/driver. I took apart the drill for cleaning/lube and am having difficulty installing the "adjustment collar" into the correct position. There is a black mark on...

Alright, I hope you can follow me on this, it may be confusing. First, set the clutch coller on the clutch in any position. Use the collar to tighten down the clutch in a clockwise direction until the clutch stops clicking, then back the clutch off (1) click. Then take the clutch collar off and spin the collar until you see the little drill bit on the collar, line it up with the top of the drill as it would sit if it was put together, and gently set it on the clutch and spin it counter-clockwise a very small amount until it drops into place. Then you will see the drill icon is just offset to the left as it would be assembled. Then click it clockwise and the drill bit design is right at the top where it is supposed to be if the clutch is fully engaged. I wish I could make a video of this, it would be much easier.
If you have any questions, or need clarification, I will understand. It is far easier to do, then to explain.

Hi, I have a dewalt dc925 drill. When running the

They all do that a bit. The sparks when starting up and stopping are normal. If it has been used alot brushes may be a good idea but before they need to be changed it will spark quite a bit.

It will not hurt to inspect the amount of brush material remaining.
