My camera(model: DSC-S750) is 2 and half years old. The flash is not working under any mode(Auto/On/Slow Synchro) though the camera works fine in flash off mode. Plzz help.........

Possible that the flash circuit is fault ., The best you can do is to open and check for any chances of a line break or a possible failure in the storage capacitor. If there is voltage to the inverter unit then it is possible that the circuit has failed which means a new board must be put into the camera. It is also possible that the flash tube is faulty which can be confirmed if there is high voltage on the tube with the flash trigger but with no action.

Wishing you a very happy New Year.

Flash on EasyShare DX4330 stopped after 7 years

Most likely the capacitor or xenon flash bulb is bad. If you're a techhie of sorts, you might be able to fix it yourself, just make sure you discharge the capacitor when you open the camera up (in case it's still good, and charged). With the low prices on digital cameras today, it would probably be better to buy a new one than have it repaired, and keep this camera as a backup.

My flash quit working

You are correct in saying that the bulb needs to be replaced. Take the camera to any camera shop and they will replace it for you.

Flash is not working

Check and snug tighten all the screws around the perimeter of the case. Canon digital elphs use some of the case screws as a safety switch to turn off the flash if missing (thus preventing electrical shock from the flash if the case is opened). If this doesn't correct the problem, then you may be experiencing more severe internal corrosion problems that you cannot fix yourself.
