Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

SOURCE: I need a replacement cord for the brookstone thera spa cordless massager

HELLO MEAD

I had a Theraspa cordless turbo massager that eventually stopped working but I kept the charger. It still works because I've used it for my replacement massager.

If you're still interested, would $10 be reasonable (plus shipping cost)?
I have an e-bay account and I can sell it to you through there if you want.

Let me know if/how you'd like to proceed.

Repair manual for 257097

Hello, Deborah -

I am not finding an online repair manual for the Brookstone Shiatsu Foot Massager, model 257097.

If you have not already done so, you could call or email the Brookstone Customer Care phone number and ask a representative about the availabilty of such a manual or a location where you can take or send your massager for repair.

This is the link to the Brookstone Contact Us web page:
http://www.brookstone.com/contact

The phone number is in the upper right corner of the page, or you can complete the form there to send an email.

Note: A manual I found online (PDF document, Adobe Acrobat Reader software needed - free) for a different Brookstone foot massager, model BR-7100A, gives the following warning:
(Quote)
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. Incorrect repair can cause risk of electric shock or injury to persons when unit is used.

Is it possible that there are differences in power sources between where you originally used your massager and India? The massager may have lasted just long enough in the new environment to fail.

User manual for brookstone foot massager 257097

the gear for the drive is probably stripped. Get a new gear to replace or get a new massager, probably the later.

Have a brookstone thera spa CORDLESS massager older model, precurser to the turbo massager ... the charging unit that came with the corless massager is missing (lost) can i purchase a replacement

I have a similar Brookstone model, cordless with heat and cold options. I gave up finding the cord and purchased a dual model charger from Amazon that allows me to chose the voltage of the charge to the item. It appears to be working find now. I did have to play with the input voltage until I found the correct amount in spite of what the charger said. The unit I bought is a Hosa Technology power charger. Number ACD-377. Hope this helps you too.
