Husqvarna weedeater overheating after unclogging exhaust

The only reason for a brush cutter to over heat is because the engine is running too lean, this may be because the fuel filter is blocked, or the fuel hose is leaking, or the carb is set to lean on the carb mixture screws,

Once it heats up either the spark plug or the ignition module is breaking causing them not to work. I would first check on the price of the ignition module, Then decide it is to expensive to repair and send it to the scrap man.

Can't get weedeater spool head loose to change the line.

there is three types of heads push, screw, and snap. The screw type have a big ball looking thing on the bottom that when pressed lets the line out. the snap kind are verry distinctive they slid in and two tongs snap in to place you will be able to see them on the out side. the push head just push in and turn.

My weedeater edger over heats and freezes up. it gets very hot, smokes around the spark plug, the spark plug is coverd with soot and it won't start again

Are you using mixed gas? The gas needs to be mixed 50:1
You will have to use 2 cycle oil. If you are using mixed gas, than you can buy a cooler spark plug.
Sounds like the spark plug is not properly gapped.

I would first clean the air filter, check fuel lines for cracks and check the fuel filter inside the tank, if those look good try adjusting then if necessary rebuilding the carburetor.
Also you might move your post to another section; it is under timers not trimmers. ;)
