Question about Nextar GPS
Just recently in the last two weeks, when we turn it on, it comes on the Navigation page, I touch the auto icon, it flicks to the I Agree screen then flicks off, going back to the Nextar home page. It has also stopped keeping the date and time. Can you help? We don't charge it before taking it to the car; we just plug it into the lighter port. It is kept in its case in the house, so it is not subjected to extreme cold or heat.

SOURCE: My gps not working
I had this problem and had to tap the right bottom part of the screen to get the proper screen to come up and just go from there!! You may have to do this each time when you use your GPS. Hope that this will solve your problem!

push and Hold the power button down while you push reset, keep power button pressed til it boots again. If it does not, and it's in warranty ship it to garmin. If it's out of warranty, have someone open it up and remove the battery for a couple of minutes.

I had the same issue with the website. If you live in the U.S. call 1-888-849-0846 and they will do it over the phone. You must have your Serial number to register it.

The shut down' problem is caused by a faulty 'USB' charger socket
Swap out the socket and make sure you resolder ALL 5 terminals and the 4 pcb clamps.
Only attempt this if your skilled enough. A botched repair will not work and cause more even fatal damage to the pcb.
Sorry if I just depressed you but that's what need to be done.
TomTom support lie and tell you its the navcore, NOT
I have carried out this repair myself and it did cure the problem.
