I have a Phillips flat panel tv that won't come on

The clicking sound is the switched mode power supply trying to power up the TV. This problem is usually caused by parts called capacitors on the power supply board going bad. You can repair the board yourself by replacing the capacitors. On this model there are 4 main capacitors that will need to be replaced. If you feel that you can do the repair yourself then get back with me and I will help you get the right parts, if not you can take the unit to a repair center near you and they can replace the power board. Phillips Plasma TV keeps turning its self off

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Phillips/Magnavox 9P5544C102 white raster and shuts down

This denotes a problem called blooming the horizontal lines you see are called retrace lines this is caused by the increase in anode voltage which could be caused by an increase in HV section current which trips the overcurrent protection dircuit and turns the TV off.If you do not have electronics experience I would suggest taking the set to a TV repair shop.
