How to wire a fluorescent tube.

c667c39.jpg Ok here is a rough, VERY, of a Fluro circuit.
After wiring through and ON/OFF switch the Phase comes in from right, attaches to the "IN" of the "Ballast" the "OUT" side of the "Ballast" still Phase, goes to one side of the filament connection, at one end,on the Fluro Tube. Now from the other side of that filiment, is Neutral, Make a connection, on that other side of the same filament, & run a wire from there, to one side, terminal, of the "Starter" the other side, or terminal, of the starter goes to the other end and connects to one of the filament Connections, on the other end, Now, on the other side of that same filament, on the connection to that filament you run a wire to the NEUTRAL, the circuit is complete.

Fluro tube

fluro tubes are rated in watts and they are connected to the length of the tube. ie 20 watt 20 inches---30watt 36 inches and 40 watt 48 inches. Some makers have a triclor fluro that have a higher lumens value but the wattage will be the same.. You will have to compare tubes in the lighting shop.

Hi, my ilve oven made a bang last night blew the fuse in the fuse box, which I replaced. The lights and fan on oven work but there is no heat.

Hello westcowie, ILVE Service here.
First check that your oven's time is set. If the clock is not set the oven will not work due to a safety feature following a power outage?
If you continue to experience problems please contact the National ILVE Service team on 02 8569 4672, or via the ILVE website at http://www.ilve.com.au/contact-us
Thank you, we look forward to helping you with this issue.
Kind regards, ILVE Service

After using the monitor for more than 20 minutes eyes become watery and burning sensation starts. I am afraid if it causes heavy radiation. ...

CRT screens emit low levels of electromagnetic radiation, mainly from the back of the monitor. LCD a lot less emit less electromagnetic radiation. The backlight from a LCD screen is provided by a CCFL lamp, this is a very small fluro tube about 2mm in diameter compared with a 20-25mm normal fluro tube.
I do not think the LCD is the cause of your problem, I suggest you consult with an EYE specialist about your problem.
