Hi, I presume the PC you connect to has an internet connection. If so this is normal behaviour. When you connect to a PC via a USB cable and ActiveSync the connection is given an IP address via the host PC. If under the ActiveSync settings you are allowing the connected device to use the host PC's internet connection then the 4420 has access to the internet. simpuls. To get a connection to the internet you would require a different connection, i.e. wireless. You would also need a wireless access point or wireless router. Set the SSID and encryption on the wireless device and match it on the 4420. Hope this helps.

Go to the control panel an click on network connections look to see if connected if it is, connected right click on the icon and click repair to renew your ip address. If this still doesn't work reset your modem look for a button in the rear and press for a few seconds and wait for all lights on the modem to come back and try to connect. If neither work call your Internet provider for support and I hope I've helped you.
