How do we we receive these missing parts: Wood hole covers. Supposed to have 8 (corner Bench)+4 (table)+2 (bench) = 14. We only received 4!

go back to K-mart and see the person in the lay-by section
talk with them and they will either refund the money or replace it with a new unit
You will need the receipt , the unit and all the bits that you have
if you still have the carton it came it , that makes it easier to carry
I have found most K-mart shops to be reasonable when there are problems with products

A walk-inpicnic table has benches attached all around but there are gaps in the benchesto allow people to get in and out easily without having to climb over. Are metal outdoor benches as comfortable as the wooden benches? They look extremely uncomfortable

It does just depend on the type you are getting.Metal benches can be very comfortable and even more than wood benches, dependson the angle and their cushioning. I suggest that you will try some benchesbefore buying. I can tell you that the metal ones will last longer and areeasier to maintain.

I want to get a wooden outdoor bench, but what about weather damages overtime?

If you prefer wood, then you should definitely go for the long lasting woods like Eucalyptus, cedar and teak. If you like metal benches, make sure they are painted in water resistant color and that they are also rust resistant.

Clean old wood

I would start by wiping It down with a damp cloth and then letting it try. Depending on its condition there are a few steps to take from here. One option for something in good shape would be a wood polish (though I don't think this is what you want for a work bench). If it needs more work, it can be sanded a fine grain sandpaper and then left as is, or stained or sealed. Just as a heads up, wood is very porous so if it is stained because something was spilled and left to sit, it's likely permanent. A dark stain (found at any hardware store) and some sanding might be able to over it up.

I painted a picnic bench with latex, and it peeled. I scraped off some of it, and much is left on. Is oil base paint over this a good solution?

Hi there. Try to remove as much of the old paint as possible. You should sand down the wood and paint a little bit to rough up the wood and only then paint over it. Paint sticks much better to roughed up wood. Oil based paint would also be a better solution. The best solution is to use stain, if that's an option. Alex

Bench grinder starts but don't move

It sounds like the motor is burnt out. If the case can be opened, unplug it and check around for signs of too much heat, especially at any wire connections. You may be able to resolder or replace a wire to fix it

How do I remove rear wheel bearings for replacement?

The bearings are pressed in. You can remove them yourself and it's about a 45 mins per wheel job. You will need a brass punch, hammer, tub of grease, block of wood, and a socket the same size as the bearing and a bench to work on.
Best to take the drum to a break repair place and have them remove them and press in the new ones.
