SOURCE: Logitech Cordless MX 700 Mouse

My mouse pointer was drifting for no reason, until I looked closely at the laser and saw a hair across the optical port. Removed with tweezers. Drifting stopped.

hello,have you tryed cleaning the bottom of your mouse any dirt of debre can cause a bad mouse curse movement also have you checked to make sure you have updated drivers for your logitech devises ?

Did you try repairing the mouse with the receiver? During battery change it might have lost its pairing information.

M185 keyboard and mouse use diffrente technology than bluetooth. The main transmission frecuency can be similar but there are other technichal issues that make both dispositives incompatible.

Sounds to be a hardware problem. especially if it would move by itself at times, now not at all.

Windows is detecting it correctly, right?

If so, then i would say time for a new one.

My Logitech mouse is not tracking,with new battery. I can move the curser wiyh my finger but not the mouse.Any suggestions? Thank You!


There is reset button on the mouse as well as in the reciver, first you have to press the reset button on the reciver and then you have to press reset button on the mouse within 30sec

Hi a. Have you tried another mouse and
b. Are you using a glossy or prismatic mouse mat? Try using a different one or a sheet of A4 and see if this fixes it

Logitech Marble Mouse became erratic then stopped


Nope have to throw it away and buy another. I've had this same problem every 3-4 months: works fine then it disappears from device manager then it works again at random. I end up replacing it after my curser stops moving for minutes at a time. After a few months the replacement does the same thing. My 5th replacement will be Kensington, Logitech apparently sucks

Logitech keyboard


Click start and go to the control panel then click on the hardware and sound link find your mouse from there and click settings and within those settings you should see sensitivity and click speed.
change them to your likeing.

remove the usb antenna from the computer, uninstall the software, restart, reinstall the software,restart, and then plug the usb antenna in again and try it.
