Question about Kenmore 62602 Electric Dryer
Tumble dryer stopped 'tumbling' the other day but warm air still comes out inside the drum. All lights are on and timer starts counting down ok. Its 6 years old, we dont use the removable water holder as we have a plastic tube to take the water directly out. Many thanks in advance for any help.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Defy Tumble dryer not heating
Is this an electric dryer? If so, the most common problem would be a burned-out heating element. There could also be a defective temperature sensor inside. This will need to be evaluated by a qualified appliance repair technician to find the exact cause.

SOURCE: dryer wont turn
Yes, it will save you alot of money and work just fine. You will have to shut off the dryer, turn off the gas and/or electric(disconnect it to be sure it is power free). Look at dryer carefully as you may be able to access the belt from the lower front. The belt is easily available at Sears Parts Stores. Do not use it until fixed as it might overheat!

SOURCE: dryer heats but won't tumble
Assuming, the timer is ok and that you can hear the the dryer motor running, it sounds like a broken belt. These kind of failures generally occur suddenly - one day it works, the next day it doesn't.
