When I scan two-sided to pdf, the back page has a large black vertical streak down left side.

If that is the last page that has the streak use a blank page in the original scan as the last page and then the dark line wont cover the image.

Faded black print. Installed new toner. Still not sharp or dark.

If you are getting vertical faded streaks in the black print like this:
slamfix_37.jpg The problem is with the developer in the imaging unit. The problem can be fixed by either replacing the imaging unit for $100+ or you can fix it yourself by cleaning the imaging unit. You will need simple hand tools and if you are careful restore the print quality of your printer. I have a link to instructions that should help you http://www.fixya.com/support/r4120906-clean_developer_blades_samsung_clp_300 Hope this helps you.

I have a LG 42LB5D 42" 1080 LCD television that

hi, usually you can correct this issue with only a few system checks, dark streaks can be caused by damaged pixels on the screen, in which case you need to replace the TV.
  • Inspect where the dark streaks are on the television. If the streaks occur at the same place on the top and bottom of the screen, they are due to the formatting of a movie or television show you are watching. This is normal. Also, if the streaks appear on the left and right of the screen, they are due to the show being filmed in full-screen instead of wide-screen. This also is normal.

  • Change the input setting so you are viewing the contents of a different device. If the dark streaks are gone, you know they are due to the device connected to it. However, if the dark streaks remains no matter what input the TV is connected to, the problem lies with the television.

  • Inspect the cable connection. Oftentimes when connecting a computer to an LCD TV, you can have strange dark streaks across the screen. Use a DVI-to-HDMI cable connection when plugging in your computer, then press the "Menu" button on your TV remote, select "Picture" and chose "Square Pixel." See whether the image adjusts and the dark streak goes away.
  • Contact the manufacturer of your LCD television if the dark streak remains. This streak can be caused by a defect in the television; if the TV is still under warranty, you can have it replaced.

Have a canon c130.changed toner and still getting dark streaks on copies. Have cleaned all I could find inside still dark streaks

Try doing a "stop test." You would induce a jam before the paper reaches the fuser.

Just open a cover while printing and hopefully some image has been transferred to the paper. If the defect exists already then the laser unit, or document scanner may be causing it.

If that eliminates the dark streak, then obviously the fuser FG6-3720-000 should be changed.

Print quality: dark faded, but continuous

Open top cover and remove toner, shake toner cartridge and try a test print. IF image good then problem is low toner level in cartridge.

Xerox phaser 8860 light streak in cyan color field.

On your panel, scroll to troubleshooting, then to something that states something like adjust image quality or repair image quality.
You are looking for a procedure called simply "remove light stripes, and also remove smears and streaks. Run those and they should clean your jets and resolve our problem.
