SOURCE: I have an IPOD touch. I just bought d650 motorola

Unfortunately not all bluetooth headsets are compatible with the Ipod Touch. You should go the Apple's Website and see if that have a list of what bluetooth devices will work for them

How do you pair the 903 headset with my ipod touch?

To pair the Plantronics BackBeat 903 with an iPod Touch:

On the 903 headset:
With the headset powered off, press and hold the "Power/Pairing" button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This will put the 903 headset into pairing mode.

Use the iPod Touch menu to search for the headset and select 9xxBackBeat.

(If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey. Some devices also require you to accept the connection. Headset is paired when LED flashes blue.)

On the iPod Touch:
In Settings, choose General, Bluetooth, and turn Bluetooth on.

Choose the device on iPod Touch, then enter the PIN/Passkey 0000 (4 zeros).

After pairing the 903 and iPod Touch, the headset model may appear on the screen when you are viewing the audio or video playback controls. (You can "tap" to switch to a different audio output, such as the internal speaker)

I am trying to pair a Discovery 925 to an ipod touch (2nd generation). It recognizes "9xxPlantronics Not Connected" I click on that bar (or line) and get the keyboard screen with the request to enter...

I might be wrong, but I think the iPod Touch, not being a phone, doesn't have either HSP (HeadSet Profile) or HFP (Hands Free Profile) bluetooth profiles, solely used for phone calls. Nevertheless, being an audio/video reproduction device, it must have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), from its 2nd-gen onwards. Your problem is that the Plantronics 925, being a monoaural bluetooth headset, bears HSP and HFP only. You were able to successfully pair it with your TP2 because it is a phone. You must purchase stereo bluetooth headsets, in order to pair them with your iPod Touch.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

How do I reset my bluetooth headset to sinc to another device instead (and can it link to an Ipod touch)

Just turning the device off then back on is the only type of reset there is.

To be able to pair your headset with two Bluetooth devices the headset must have Multipoint technology. The Explorer 330 does not have this technology. Also for use with devices like the iPod touch the Bluetooth headset must have A2DP technology for streaming music. Unfortunately the Explorer 330 is an older model of headset and does not have the A2DP technology.

Below is a link to newer Bluetooth headsets if you would like to upgrade.

IPod touch not pairing with HBM-210 headset

It will never work. The profile is not included in the software. It is an exclusive function for the iPhone.
Review "iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Supported Bluetooth pro?les" at the Apple web site.
I suffered the same pain after buying them.
