Trying to reset my Casio G shock model 2688, but it won't receive info from Fort Collins like the manual says it should. Can you help?

- My watch finally DID communicate with Fort Collins after I had given up and set it to Central Time. Woke up one morning and realized it was actually an hour later than my watch said. So I brought it back to NYC setting. The watch was just late in correcting itself. We should do away with the whole time-correction deal anyways. George, sounds like you and I have the same watch. To set time, press the adjust button. This will cause the time zone indicator to blink. Cycle through to the city closest to you. The watch will now indicate the correct time.

I was reading the battery replacement procedures for the Garmin Forerunner 50 and have an alternate observation.
To remove the spring clip that hold in the battery and plastic, place your thumb over the middle of the spring and gently press and slide the spring in a 7:30 to 1:30 direction. The spring pops out and the battery can be removed. NO PRYING IS NECESARY. Replace the battery. The spring is replaced by setting the 7:30 end in place and then sliding the 1:30 end in to lock it.(similar to the removal but in reverse). I hope this helps!

I have an Invicta Elite dive watch. Found on the pavement of a gas station. Clearly run over by a car, but works. I cannot screw the crown back down. Anybody westside of Cleveland that can repair relatively cheaply.
Thanks,
Jeff
