Replacing 4 wire 3 speed fan switch with 3 wire 3 speed fan switch. Is it possible??

No it is not going to. If it does then why did they use the four wires in the first place? Duh!

If you cap the ground wire nada will work - if you cap one of the wires going to a motor winding, that speed will not work.

Is it possible to repair a broken wire

you can repair a broken wire provided you know exactly the pt where the wire is broken..... just turn the wire left and right at suspecious points and listen to the sound..... if you can hear a change in sound at any point, conclude that it is broken there.... cut the wire at that point and solder the wires back in the correct combination to make it work fine...

How do u connect the amp

Run a power wire from the positive battery terminal to the red power wire on your amp. Without extending the length of the ground wire if possible connect it to a clean ground connection as close to the amplifier as possible. Wire your speakers to the proper terminals, make sure you do not exceed the capabilities of the amplifier i.e. impedance matching. Connect the blue wire to the power ant or remote connection on the back of the radio usually a thin blue with white stripe or plain blue. screw amp to the car..enjoy

How do i wire a 500k micro farad compacitor ot my exsiting amp? need a wire diagram or detailed instructions thanks

The capacitor has two terminals. One is + and one is - . Your Amplifier has three terminals on the power connector. One is connected by a Black wire connected to the body or - of the battery, the second is a Blue wire connected to the remote wire of the Head unit ( for remote ON/OFF of the Power Amp ). The third is the Red wire connected to the + terminal of battery through a big Fuse .
Connect the Capacitor + to the terminal with the Red wire and Connect the Capacitor - to the terminal with the Black wire. Make sure you use heavy cables to do the connection and try to keep the length of the interconnecting cables as short as possible ( to minimize losses ). In other words try to connect the Capacitor as close as possible to the Power Amplifier for maximum efficiencybobhifi_26.jpg.moz-screenshot.pngmoz-screenshot-1.png

I have a JS968 GE Profile range that the ASM sensor went bad. When pulling the sensor to replace it with the new I discovered that the plastic connectors had disintegrated from heat. Is it possible to...

Hi. Yes it is possible to connect the wires with wire nuts. (Without tape! / tape can melt) You must use ceramic / porcelain wire nuts (white) in HOT areas. Make sure it is a clean connection with no copper strands exposed The plastic ones will melt like your connector did. Most appliance parts supply stores will have ceramic / porcelain wire nuts.

Here is a source for ceramic wire nuts if you can not find them. (15 ea / pack) $5.65 +shipping

I have a 95 f150 wheni put the truck in reverse it stalls an blows a big 30 amp fuse under the hood

Just a guess...but I suspect that your brake light power wire is shorted somewhere. Follow it as far as possible and look for frayed insulation. If you cannot find bad wire, then pull both brake lights and check the power wire with an ohmmeter. If you see a short to ground, then it confirms a bad wire. You will have to recheck or bypass the wire run (by cutting the wire as close to the brake switch as possible and running a new wire to the brake light connection.
Let us know what you find!!

When you turn the burner on, the lighting around the knob does not light up. How do I fix this? Jenn-air cooktop cce3531

There are only two possible solution to this problem one of which is that your indicator light is faulty and will need to be replaced. part number for the indicator light is 706125. the other possible solution will be that the wire has simply burned and the part number for this wire is 706091. I`m not sure why there is a ``special`` wire part number. A generic high temperature wire will be sufficient.hope this helps.

Thanks

3 wire white rogers zone valve operated by 2 wire thermostat any one have a wiring diagram?

It is technically possible use a 2-wire thermostat with a 3-wire zone valve, but you need a single pole, double throw relay like a fan control relay with one normally open switch and one normally closed switch. 2-wire thermostats only have one switch that is normally open. 3-wire thermostats have two switches......one switch that is normally open, and one switch that is normally closed. The fan relay lets the 2-wire thermostat simulate a 3-wire thermostat. It's possible, but usually it's easier to just get a 3-wire thermosts.
