SOURCE: My Danby washer always drain the water when it

The answer is the drain hose. It must be routed higher than the machine or water will always drain. There is no actual drain valve.

Can you extend the exhaust hose on these danby air conditioners?

Generally, no. These units only have just so much fan pressure to exhaust the heat & moisture out of the house. Extending the hose could cause a draining & exhaust problem.

Drain hose too short

in these cases we use a secound hand drain hose from an old washer using a rubber extender (purchase from washer repair / parts supply store) that goes over the ends of both hoses therefore extending the hose

Washer does not spin out all of the water & we

The symptoms you have are constant with a clogged drain hose or drain pump.

Try draining as much water from the washer as possible. Then take the drain hose off the machine take it outside and run water through it. If this is clear, tip the machine up and take the drain hose off that is inside and do the same, this drain hose connects directly to the pump in front. When you have the hose off look to see if something is in side the pump like a sock.

Washer is not spinning fast enough clothes are wet at one point i think i put in too much soap and it said draining problem

If this is a HE front load washer. MAke sure your drain hose is not shuved too far down the drain pipe. Water will syphen back into the washer and clothes will be wet. Drain hose should be in drain pipe 8 inches. See you ownwers manual for drain hose recomemdations. Reason why it says drasining problem is because maybe water is sysphening back into washer and pump is taking long to drain and operating too long and washer senses it. So check your drain hose and make sure its not to far down the drain pipe..re adjust if it is and wash your clothes and see if problem persists...hope this helps

GE Drain Hose

Hi, Does this washer have to pump the water up into a drain? If it is possible, it would be better for the machine if you can bring the drin pipe closer to the washer. I know it is not always a possibilty. The longer the drain hose, the harder it is on the washer and sometimes the cloths don't spin out as dry as they will with a short drain hose.

Sometimes does not spin enough to wring out water from clothes.

The spin cycle should be on a timer, and shouldn't be able to change how long it spins. The same timer that controls all the cycles of your washer.Your pump may be trying to go out,and isn't removing the water fast enough. This will keep water in the tub,and the normal spin cycle isn't long enough to let the pump get the job done.Another problem might be a clog in your drain hose.Another problem could be the drain hose is set to high above the pump, and the pump can't push it up that high (shouldn't be a problem if you are using the hose that came with the washer, and not extending it with another hose or something.)

Kenmore Calypso washer Ld code?

I just had the same problem. I borrowed my neighbors wet vac. The hose of the wet vac fit right over the end of the drain hose and I sucked out all the remaining water. My hope was that if the hose was clogged that it would clear it out. It seems that it worked. I put the drain hose back in the drain and turned on the extended spin cycle. It was working, so I put the water logged clothes back in the washer on the extended spin cycle and it took the water out. I am now in the process of washing another load to see if it really fixed the problem. I hope this helps.
