Question about Tricity Bendix WDR1040W Front Load Washer / Dryer
Trinity Bendix 1000.
4 years old approx.
Working normally but in the last week smells of drains which is making the washing smell. It is the smell you get when something is wet and left for a few days. Have cleaned filter and drawers -all ok and apart from the horrible smell inside the drum of the machine. There is no problem with rinsing or spinning either.
Check the drum's rubber lining as dirt and grime gets caught between the rubber and begins to smell. I had the same problem and after throughly clearing all the debris that had built up between the rubber my machine stopped smelling.

this sounds like a syphoning problem this means the outlet /drain pipe at the back of the machine has been pushed to far into the drain upstand pipe causing the water to syphon straight through the machine make sure that the drain pipe is only part way down the drain pipe, hope this works for you
