: I think that in the morning you must eat a whole food meal. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a protein bar is not enough to give you that morning boost (that you get from carbs and protein bars don't have enough of). However, if you absolutely have no time to prepare breakfast, then eating a protein bar is definitely better than not eating at all. You can add a fruit or two as well.
