Question about HP Pavilion dv6000t Notebook
Check out this link, it discusses how XP needs the drivers for your SATA HD. You will need to be able to have the driver on a floppy disc drive based on the instructions listed in the HP Support site...
You can purchase a USB Floppy Drive from any computer store if you don't have one.

Yes there is. You need to aquire a windows xp install disc, and boot from it and then install it.
To boot from it you need to go into the boot menu on startup, press F2 when next boot up and hold it until boot options appear. (may be F8 or even F12 depending on settings).
