If the Wii is not powered on at the time you are seeing this. I'd say you have image retention which is burned in images to the panel or CRT if it's a rear projection TV. If its a flat panel TV (Plasma or LCD) you can get a disc like the Disney Wow disc and use the pixel flipper on it. It will flip on and off rapidly the red, green and blue pixels which will age the panel a bit faster, but may even out the retention. They have beginner and expert modes for calabration
