Question about Scotsman Ice Maker CM3 30inW Cubed Ice Machine 750LB

Why Scotsman CM3 ice machine shows diagnostics water problem?

My Scotsman CM3 ice cubes maker machine stopped working and is currently showing a green light in OFF and a red light in DIAGNOSTICS WATER. I tried to reset it by pushing the OFF button and then the FREEZE button and it starts working for about 30 minutes and then again it stops with the same error as above. Can anybody has a solution?

I am going to assume that the machine has been cleaned, I would adjust the cube thickness to less.

SOURCE: On our Scotsman cm3 the

These units have a real problem with the bin controls. I can't begin to tell you how bad. There are two - for lack of a better term - paddles - that are basically just pushed into the left and right side of the drop area that have small lenses in them with a low level beam that when broken indicates a full bin. You have to reach in from under the bin opening and feel to the left and right, pull the paddles toward the middle and there should be enough slack on the wires to get a good hold of them and clean the lenses with a Q-tip soaked in grapefruit juice. Pop them back in and try them - if that doesn't work (and sorry but most of the time it doesn't) then they will have to be replaced.

I have a scotsman CM3 with aquaarmor ice machine. There is a constant trickle of water coming from each leg. Why is the happening???

Try taking off a side or back panel and see if there is frost building up. If frost is present, it could be low on refrigerant.
If there is condensation, it could be the insulation is saturated with water allowing thermal transfer to condense water out of the air.

Check the water inlet valve water seeping through valve should be running over into bin. Replace or rebuild valve. the machine should have slowed down on production of ice also.

The only way to make ice faster for this machine is done with cooler ambient room temperature and colder water temperature from supply water before it reaches water sump tray.

We have four Scotsman Ice Makers. The curtains are beginning to turn a little green. What is the approximate cost of replacing these curtains. How much per curtain?

Unless they are terrible you can clean the curtains. What you do is put icemaker cleaner in the icemaker and run it through a cycle. I don't know how much the curtains cost.
