Bicycle with serial number A1050451, can you tell me what year it is?

No, nobody can. Even if you had been considerate enough to provide the brand and model we would just have to do what you should do - Google the brand name and "serial number" and do your own research, or perhaps contact the manufacturer.

Is the serial number J96107 a real serial number? I was told that they only went up to J96096.

As with any hardware, you need to supply a "brand name" or manufacturer and what the "model number" is. Of course, a model number is not a serial number. Even within a brand, each model may have its own set of serial numbers. I suggest you do a google search for "brand serial numbers" replacing the word brand with your specific brand. But here is a short cut that may serve you well:

If you want to try another type of direct google search for your:

If you do not know the brand, then try the type of instrument and serial numbers. That may offer you a list of different instrument brands with links to serial numbers associated with them. Here is a result for a search for clarinet serial numbers.

I have a TV an I don't know the name of it so I can get code for remote. Can I find out the brand of TV by serial number

You should be able to find the brand name on the back panel. The serial # may work, but try to get all the numbers and titles off back panel; serial #, model #, and so on good luck !

What E-7 error does mean?

I can find no listing for an air conditioner with that brand name. The closest that I can come is Daikin and indeed it is a maker of air conditioners
You need to find the plate or sticker that has the Brand name, serial number and the model number shown on the same plate.
Even if it is the correct brand name it is very difficult to get information without the correct model number.

How do I find a part by serial number. 080730yd72245

You don't find parts by serial number' You find them by brand name and model number. There might be a need for a serial number if there has been a design change without making a model number change but that is rare.

Recently obtained an older piston air compressor with the following on the ID plate: ChargeAir, Model 3B30E30B, Serial No. B3230128. Who made this compressor and where can I get parts?

Energair 3B30E30B would be the brand. All you need to do, and those reviewing this post, is google the model number of most anything, this will in most cases bring up information about that product. In a general description: make, model and serial numbers are like identification tags and names on vehicles. Make being the brand name (Ford, Dodge, RCA, etc.), Model obviously being the name of that Make (comprise of letters, numbers or both) and serial numbers are like the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on your car or truck, each unit has one unique to itself. what im getting at here is you can look these things up just as if you were looking for an item for your car on ebay, the most important keyword being the model of your car. This strategy can be applied to almost everything that has a model number, simply enter the model number and/or any other keywords into any search engine like Google and there you have it, an internet full of information. Note: using too many keywords may not return any results, I would suggest starting with just the model number to be sure it can be found. I hope this helps.

Where's my serial number

You should provide a BRAND name in order to find a definite answer to this question. Different manufacturers place this information on nameplates in different locations on their appliances. Most commonly, the Model and Serial numbers are located around the oven door opening. You will have to open the door to see the nameplate. If you have a lower oven drawer, its probably located there. On certain models of Maytag and Fridgidaire (I'm sure there are other manufacturers as well) this same information is located on the BACK of the operator console. If you are still having problems, please post back with your brand name and I'll see if I can give you better guidance.
