You need to contact your nearest a/c supply house. most company's that sale parts on line will not sale gas valves to the public due to liability.

SOURCE: Gas Valve is leaking

I am a Nordyne dealer and you can replace your gas valve with a generic valve of your choice. You can try and find a supply house in your area that sells them or you can visit www.myhvacparts.com to find one.

There is probably more than one limit switch. I'll have to get a wiring diagram of this unit. See if you can follow the wires from the wires from the limit switch and see if they go to another limit switch. Also you can put a jumper wire on the red wire and white wire on the unit outside and see if ti comes on.

SOURCE: I have an old Intertherm gas-fired furnace, Model

Sound like your blower motor is bad, but depending on the furnace age you could have an blower control board that has bad contacts. Need serial number or age of furnace,.Capacitors usually are not the problem, need to replace both motor and capacitor.

SOURCE: i recently replaced my furance in my moblie home

Hi, most of the time, they tuck the manual in the heating section of the unit. Look around and you may find it. If you have then go with what Mike said to do.

No problems, would like to find out the best way to remove blower for cleaning on an intertherm gas furnace mgh 075 ina mobile home

Generally ther is two screws at the base of the blower housing which hold it in place, remove the screws and pull, slide the entire assembly out. You will have to disconnect the electrical wiring to the blower and possibly the limit switch on the side if equip.

If your friends heater has a pilot light but no burner I would be inclined to change the gas valve. You need to get the proper gas valve for mobil homes. They require a two stage slow opening valve. Make sure it is set up for the right type of fuel. If possible have someone with experience working with gas to help you with repairs. I hope this helps you some. Thanks

When I turn on my furance or ac the blower is always on even though the fan is set to auto. When it is on heat it never gives off any hot air, so it never warms up the house. I had someone look at it and...

If this is a mobile home furnace they usually have a two stage gas valve. Generally they just have a delay in opening fully and are convertable from L.P to natural gas or vice versa. It is a possibilty that the gas valve is bad. If so it will have to be replaced. First I would have someone check your thermostat to see if that is what is causeing the blower to run . does the burner ever light? I wouldsuggest that you hire a service tech. who is knowledgable on intertherm furnaces. I don't recommend anyone who is not trained to change gas valves, because of safty concerns. I hope this helps you some. Thanks

Open the door to the airhandling unit inside the closet by lifting upward on them. There should be two filters located on top of the A coil.

At the furnace, jump the R and W (or T and T) terminals on the circuit board or gas valve. Make sure the door switch is closed with some electrical tape. By doing this we are forcing the unit to start. If it does fire, you have either a bad thermostat or a broken wire to the thermostat. If it does nothing, look for a bad fuse, check for 24 volts going to the gas valve, an open limit switch or 120 volts at the transformer.
