Sour Smell in clothes
Clothes come out of the wahser with a sour smell. We leave the door open when not in use, but does not help. There seems to be mold on the inside of the door gasket. We have cleaned the gasket several times with bleach, but it continues to come back. What do we need to do get rid of the sour smell?
We have similar problem - sour smell from GE washer. It started about one year after We bought it. We try to remain door open, but it doesn't help much. Any suggestions?

- o cannot get sour smell out, i've dried everything and it does not help. i've ran bleach through it and maybe it will last one day and then its back, - barbaramiya8Sep 22, 2008
- We have had our washer for over a year and our clothes smell sour as soon as you put them on. I have run cleaners and cleaned door and rubber seal and still no relief. Help?- andrewssells
