Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: miller bobcat 225g plus welding problem

If the idle is not working, then it is either you idle solenoid attached to the carberator or your idle board is bad. If you apply 12Vdc to the idle solenoid is should move, if not then the solenoid is shot, no good. If it works then you idle board is bad. Also, check to see if you are 60Hertz by measuring at the outlet with a frequency meter. I recommend a Fluke meter. You should have 120Vac and 60HZ at the outlet. If the frequency is low then your engine speed needs to be increased. The idle solenoid could be causing all these problems.

SOURCE: A new welding machines lincoln 500s with wire feeder linc feed 45 co2 gas shielding ... when i begin the welding process continueous just for 10 seconds and then the wire feeder stop and then after 50

the obvious, yet sometimes overlooked problem is to check if the wire feeder rollers.do you have the proper tension set?(did you do the wire test when you shot the wire to see if it bends or stops)

Unfortunately, since this machine is CV (constant voltage) it is strictly for Mig or Flux-cored welding. Anything that is stick welded can be welded with Mig. All you need is a compatible Mig welder.

Miller trailblazer 302 diesel welder, full tank of diesel, gauge shows empty, starts but then stops

the Trailblazer 302 diesel, has a fuel level sensor that tells Control PCB2 if there is fuel in the tank. PCB2 sends a signal to CR1, which lets voltage go to the Fuel Solenoid. If the sensor is bad, PCB2, CR1, or the fuel solenoid, fuel will not get to the engine. I am including the manual for the Trailblazer. Now keep in mind, the circuit may be a little bit different based on serial number. In the center of page 46 will be the fuel circuitry. Miller trailblazer 302 wants to melt a brand new stator within seconds of welding. Any ideas on why? Thanks.

it would appear that there is current or voltage control probably from a dead short in the circuit or a problem voltage control regulator
probably best if you discuss it with the service agents as to what is wrong and get a proper diagnosis

My TB 302 cranks and runs at high idle does not idle down. I have power at all recepticals but no power at welding leads. I have checked all breakers and fuses, they are ok. what do I need to do next

there are a few things you can check on your machine,
make sure your machine is not in the remote control position, make your process switch is in the electrode hot position, the trailblazer has three slip rings, make sure the carbon brushes are not "stuck" in the holders, there are 2 circuit boards in your machine, make sure the plugs are properly inserted into the receptacles and making good contact, also make sure your ignition switch plug is clean and making good contact

I have a miller trailblazer 301g. It worked fine yesterday and now only the 120/240 volt outlets will work. No weld output and also the idle will not kick down. when I opened the unit the only visable...

Hi:

Probably your machines just overloaded; the engine will run and produce voltage but no weld output.
Check your fuses F1 and F2, if they are open replace them.
Both fuses are located at left hand side of machine, open it and you will find them on the bracket.

Good Luck.

Miller Trailblazer, welds great for about 30 minutes. Then I loose my arc. It will spark but not maintain the arc. I let it cool off for 15 to 30 minutes it will weld for another 15 to 30 minutes.

Sounds pretty normal. These units are not rated to weld continuously. They might only be rated at 5-10% for cheap welders and longer for better ones. They are never designed to run continuously. You need to get into the higher end ($$$) before you get that ability.
You can try to blow cool air into the unit to help it cool. Sometimes this can extend the work time.Basically you can try that or work to your temp cut off limit as you have been or upgrade to a better unit. That is about all you can do.
