If both are AT&T phones definitely it should work. If not your SIM might be damaged.

My phone keeps saying insert sim but the SIM card is already in

If you're able try the SIM in another phone to verify it's working.

One of my older phones didn't hold the SIM card very tightly so I put 4-5 small pieces of paper behind it laying flat to keep the connection tight.

LGC395 phone says service unavailable when SIM card is in

the phone maybe locked to another carrier and is not registering the SIM on the network. Just because it is a GSM phone (SIM) card doesnt mean that it will work on any GSM phone. GSM carriers in USA are TMO, ATT and prepaid resellers.

My TRACFONE Lg 800G keeps saying emergency call only when I have full service

This problem shouldn't really have anything to do with the signal your getting. the emergency calls only mode is intended for prepaid phones without minutes or contract phones that are deactivated.
That being said, there have been a lot of problems with the 800g sending certain types of data over networks, since your prepaid phone is constantly sending data regaurding your prepaid time, it may just be that the data isn't being sent or recieved properly thus either your phone or the network thinks you are out of time. try taking out your sim card see if you can tell if it is an ATT sim or a T mobile sim, if it's ATT its a pretty good possibility that that is your problem. Either way if your getting the emergency calls only screen and you've got plenty of minuts on your phone I would contact tracfone and tell them what's going on.
and a little FYI: they may try blaming it on your cell number, if you've had the same number for a long time and havent had any problems, dont let them bully you into getting a new number, chances are it wouldn't help anyway

I bought a prepaid phone card for my lg cookie and it will not let me add it i called at&t and they did something and made my phone not have a number and now it says i do not have a sims card too what...

if you are using a sim card from a prepaid phone just bought, and then add it to another att branded phone, it will not work. if you use the sim card in the new prepaid phone, it will work. att locks the sims from working in other phones for 3 months from the factory. i did the same thing with a prepaid phone and a Q9, put the sim in the q9 and it said, no service. put the sim in the prepaid phone, it worked fine. my suggestion is to talk nice ot the att store employee, and they will give you a new sim.

let me know if your phone is doing something different.

Unlock a Nokia e71x carrier is ATT.

easiest thing is to contact att, tell them you are traveling outside the country for a month, and need it unlocked so you can use one of the cheap prepaid SIMS where you are traveling to. if they don't do it, wait 10 minutes, and try again, hopefully getting a different operator.

Samsung i607 is usually locked to AT&T or Unlocked. Either way you should have no problem in putting any AT&T prepaid or other Sim card in it to use. There is nothing special that you need to do to do this. Just remove the battery and find the SIM slot with the picture showing you which way to insert the Sim card. Then put in the battery and turn the phone on.
