I do not see it in system. I tried also with my Laptop. Nothing. The green light blinks continously, also when is not connected to PC, only in power line. I think that the transformer is gone. Should I try to open it and connectting direct in PC ? Thanks

So, when you click on the start button, then right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties', and after that click on the Hardware tab followed by clicking on the Devices button, and when you scroll to bottom of that window (DeviceManager window) and expand the USB tree there is no entry for Mass Srorage Device ? (for Windows XP) Also, in your system tree, is there a greenish square there ? If these things are present your computer's USB system is seeing the device. If these things are absent, if the drive enclosure is designed to be opened (and I suspect that it is not) you might try removing the disk, though this might be difficult to do with damaging it or the connector in the enclosure and connecting it as an internal disk in your computer if the drive and the computer have the same type of connector (SATA I guess). Your motherboard also needs an empty SATA socket, and you need an additional SATA data lead. I would try Western Digital support first though. They may even offer you a replacement PSU (transformer, or they would able to direct to a vendor; you could try to pick one up on ebay. Did you test the voltages out of the PSU ? They should be 0, 5 and 12. 15.May.2014

The PSU for my WD Elements HD has a green LED which is on when the PSU is powered (this does not necessarily mean that its output is correct though) 15.May.2014

This a 320GB external (USB) hard disk drive.
Can you see it in your USB system ? If not try a different cable, different USB socket on your PC, and check all connectors (none should be loose)
.If it does show in the USB system, go to DiskManagement. If it shows there and everything looks normal, it is 'active', you may have to try reformatting the disk. You should also try locating the disk in the USB system and uninstalling the drivers, disconnect your disk, reboot your computer, and it will try to reload the (new) drivers (you must be connected to the internet). Try to check if 5V and 12V are both present on the PSU, I don't know how difficult this is with the connector that WD use.
You could contact Western Digital support, mostly they try to be helpful even your disk is not under warranty, but have all the information that is on the label to hand (s/n, p/n, model number etc).

The cleaning LED flashing and dishwater not working

The blinking clean light is an indication of a malfunction. Which circuit is causing the problem is determined by the number of flashes. Sometimes these error codes can be erroneous, however. If you wish to reset the light to see if you have a glitch, or a legitimate problem, the following link may offer you some assistance:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r417123-blinking_clean_light_kenmore_whirlpool

If the error reappears you will need to refer to the tech sheet that comes with your appliance. The sheet is usually located inside the lower toe panel under the door.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

PS Your dishwasher may have a different series of buttons to push to reset the error, but the steps are similar. If you do not have the same configuration as outlined in the link I provided, refer to your tech sheet.

Red light(HDD) continuosly glows but system does not start, even monitor not detected

Hi, have you checked inside your computer with the power on? The problem may be as simple as the cooling fan on your heatsink not working. also check if you have a case fan and see if that is working. If these are running, then check that ALL POWER CABLES TO THE MOTHERBOARD are plugged in tight. If all this fails you will need to test your power pack. If you have a multimeter test that the power cables to the board have power, Grey is neutral, black negative and the rest are either 5v, 6v, or 12v. If you can not do this test then swap the power pack from your other computer and see how this works, let us know if this fails Regards mistyman
