Question about Cameras
The DSC-HX400v is designed primarily as a still camera and is marketed as such. In some parts of the world video cameras are taxed at a higher rate than still cameras. A camera that cannot record videos longer than 30 minutes is not considered a "video camera" and thus is taxed at a lower rate.
When was the last time you saw a movie with a single scene longer than about ten minutes without any cutting, editing, or other changes?

Your quality setting is probably set to the E-Mail quality. This makes the video low quality and tiny.
Just press the button that you use to delete pictures with the regular screen on and change the image quality.

It is extremely unlikely that a digital camera has enough memory for 6 hours of video unless you are shooting at very low resolution and/or frame rates. Even highly compressed video eats MBs a second.
This camera has a built-in video time limit of 10 minutes.
Unless you know how to hack camera firmware, that's it.
