How to reset factory setting of monitor lg l1720B

Sounds to me like the button is stuck with pressure on the sensor. try moving button around a bit if it is a flat surface button then the surface is likely distorted and wont release it would have to be replaced at that point.

Well, my monitor is flashin non stop its been a couple of days or more, it appears "auto config please wait" and it keeps appearing and never stop! what do i do? my monitor is an AOC

It is a strong possibility that your Display settings in Windows is set to a refresh rate that is not compatible with your monitor. Usually setting it to 60Hz would be a compatible setting for most. Hopefully this works.

LG L1720B 17 inch LCD Monitor NOT POWER ON . I CONECTED THIS CABLE BUT SWITCH ON BUT MONITER NOT ON

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Philips Avent SCD520 Baby monitor interference

cold be intefernce from any other electronic device... potentially at a neighbours. even though mifddle of the night, could be microwave, kettle, electric blanmket, heaitng system, etc etc ... any appliance. If on the 2.4ghz wavelength could also be a computer wireless network nearby? good luck with finding and isolating - worst case, take it back and get one on the 1.8ghz ... which is reserved for these devices, and cordless phones, etc

Your monitor must have multiple inputs (Dvi,D-sub) so it searches when you start for which input is connected.
If menu popping up intemittently is your problem,The culprit is generally defective (Leaky) Key switches. You need to pen up monitor and replace.
Normally BenQ has a 3 year warranty.

My monitor constantly displays "NORMAL" across the middle of my screen. I am unable to use any of the buttons on the monitor other than the power button. I've checked all the connections which are fine....

I would actually suggest to consider the drivers of your graphics adapter.

Try upgrading the drivers of your video card. If you already have the most recent ones, I would UNINSTALL the display adapter in Windows Device Manager...and reboot the system once more.

If necessary, I would roll back the driver to a previous version.

I suspect that perhaps there may be an issue with the refresh rate or something along those lines coming from your card to your monitor. Perhaps some kind of ratio issue?

One thing I would do is definitely check the manual to your monitor and find out what "Normal" really means. THIS is what I found:

"Lightview hot key
This feature lets you easily select the best desired
image condition optimized to the environment
(ambient illumination, image types etc).
• DAY : Bright ambient illumination
• NIGHT : Dark ambient illumination
• TEXT : For text images (Word processing etc.)
• MOVIE : For animation images in videos or movies
• PHOTO : For pictures or drawings
• NORMAL : This is under normal operating conditions"

So looking at that, I am led to believe that your monitor is switching viewing modes somehow. I would inspect the button that would potentially change these modes and make sure that it's not jammed somehow. It could very well be the problem causing your other buttons to be inoperable. (If it's somehow being held down by a foreign object for instance.)

Click HERE for the manual. (Don't enter your email addy. Just click the download button.)

That's about all I can really see as a problem without seeing it personally.
