What kind of pump oil for simpson gcv190

I need to know the model of the pump you have. You are giving us the model of the engine which is a Honda GCV190. Can you tell me the model on the pump itself. It is more than likely an AR pump but I need to know . It is more than likely going to take 30 weight non detergent but some pumps take specific oil. You can also call Barens at Pressure washer parts catalog quick links Pressure Washers High Pressure... They can hook you up with the correct oil for your pump. Good luckOADXAV

How many pounds of compression is a Honda GCV190 suposed to have ?????

That engine has a compression release device. You will need a "leak down device" to check it. A quick check is to use your thumb over the plug hole, while someone pulls the start handle. If it forces your thumb off from the hole- it's enough to start/run.

Overheated now won t start

no year, no model honda nor engine size option,,, so zero answers, specific.
compression is first. does it meet spec>? 150PSI is about miniumum.
on all cylinders, at WOT, wide open throttle , the tool is $20
overheats can warp a head. easy.
fresh belts and hoses are great defense.

I put 2 cycle gas in my 4 cycle Honda gcv190 pressure washer

did you pull the spark plug out and clean it ? if you did , did you also put the starter cord and turn the motor over without the plug installed to get rid of the 2-cycle oil out of the cylinder ? if not do so.

Engine compression for 2002 125 CR Honda, 125lbs?

that sounds pretty decent, it is 7 years old so there will be less compression now than when new, obviously beacuse of wear. but 125lbs is good.
