Question about Drills
I have a standard SDS bit stuck in my kango drill. The retractable collar pulls down and the clutch moves up and down and all work normally but I cannot remove the bit from the chuck. please advise.
Hello, You might try spraying some wd-40 in the chuck to let soak and loosen up, to be able to turn and remove the bit.

These units have only been out for a short while and most are on warranty. Take it to a Bosch Service center in your area and they will replace the front of the unit. Unfortunatly this is a problem with this type of unit. The bit will deform slightly from the impacting action and lock itself in the chuck.

You have to remove the striker bolt from inside the spindle first. to do this remove the internal circlip (not always easy) then you can tap the striker bolt out and then press the broken bit out.
