SOURCE: heat/ac pump

- If it is a high wall unit yep under charge refrigerant is one of the cause.
- Out of range thermistor is also can also be the cause of tripping outdoor unit with matching blinking light same as low refrigerant.
- Dirty indoor and outdoor can also be the cause
HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR UNIT IS OUT OF FREON
- If your indoor and outdoor is clean start the unit in cool mode and monitor the outdoor pipes. If your suction pipe is icing or dry then your unit is under charge, but if your suction is cold and sweating then the system is ok and sure that the thermistor sensor is defective.

SOURCE: outdoor unit on of my

If this is an old unit is is possible that the compressor is vibrating with the load. check and see if the mounting bushes and the foundation is tight and clamped properly. If not the unit must be removed and plugged well into a good foundation. Also check the mounting bushes of the compressor , If this wont solve there is fault within the compressor , possible low lubrication that make it vibrate which might require a consensus and estimate.-- specially if the cooling is going down.

With some loads even very light ones the dryer stops and must be rest every 5 min or so

This is usually caused by a thermal fuse. There are several through out the dryer to ensure it doesn't overheat/cause a fire/damage clothes/ damage parts. Some are a one time fuse and requires repair to get it working again. Since it does come back on after a few minutes, it is probably the thermal breaker on the exhaust line out of the dryer and can usually be fixed by a thorough cleaning of the lint trap to the exhaust ouput, usually outdoors. If this doesn't work, a partial disassemble and deep cleaning of heating elements, squirrel cage, motor etc. I can seem intimidating but not too hard if you take pictures as you disassemble. Don't forget to disconnect the power/turn off the gas.

Wall AC Unit blows cold air for a little bit then blows hot air. If I turn it off for a while, it will do the same thing.

When you mansion water in the pan, do you mean the indoor coil pan or the outdoor catch "pan"? I've seen some models have a drain plug that's on the bottom of the outdoor panel or underneath. And that plug should remain installed. It uses that water to cool the copper freon tube that curves along the bottom of the outdoor section. With plug removed it can overheat. Basically it does not drain onto the ground outside, it retains its water. And the air entering side of outdoor coil is clean? May sound like repetition(forgive me). The side you see clearly is the air leaving side. The dual shaft motor has a run capacitor that may be weakening. And the outdoor air that passes thru the outdoor coil may be recirculating out then directly back in to the unit causing it to overheat. Anything blocking airflow outside? 10 mins of runtime then shouting down tells me its overheating. It may even be the electrical circuit. Loose connections can cause high amperage, low voltage issue and cause the ac load to over amp. Over amp=over heat. Hope this helps!

Lg ac shaking violently when turned on

Sounds like your fan motor is coming loose from the mounts or your squirrel cage is loose or loosening. That's just the air handler, the compressor is outdoors in the condensing unit. Pull that air handler apart and find out what's causing it, or shut it down. This can hurt you if the fan flies out of there.

Why does my ac freeze up

Hello, air conditioners will freeze either due to low airflow.....such as dirty filter, dirty evaporator coil, weak or not running blower motor. Also, a low refrigerant charge can cause the unit to freeze up.

AC Starts normally but after some time of coolinf compressor in outdoor unit trips. Compressor running light in indoor unit remains on and outdoor unit fan remains on. But no cooling. After a break of...

Probably overheating. Check the outdoor coil and see if it is stopped up with dust, grass etc. If so, disconnect power to the unit, and clean the condenser coil with water or air. Be careful not to bend the fins if you use a water sprayer.

Maytag dryer isnt as hot as normal

HI I am not an expert but we had the same problem once. It may be that the tube which air flows through to the vented portion has a blockage, of lint ( a lot of it) enought to clog the airflow which is not allowing the unit to dry your clothes in one load. Check both ends of the coiling and the outside vent. good luck
