Ok, its a firmware bug, but you should be able to reset it. Press clear modes, 1, 0, 7, and press and hold clear/stop. Press 1 for copy sp. Scroll down to 7, (data log) press 7. scroll to 7807, and reset it. exit all the way out, and recycle the power.

To use the scan to email function on your copier you need some settings from your internet provider (email setting specifically). Go into Outlook options and get your SMTP server, user name and password.
On your copier you need to change under User tools, system setting and file transfer and put these settings in. As long as your machine is set up for scan to folder thats all you should need.

have you tried sc reset through the service mode and then turn off .. you can get to this by pressing yellow clear button then 107 then hold down the cancel stop button..wait for the screen to change then go to mode 5 and you need to arrow down to sp 5 810 sc reset execute turn off the copier and try turning on to see if it clears.. if not the ac board maybe defective caused by a power surge or static down the line..

Limpie o cambie si es necesario el thermistor de la unidad fusora, luego presione total clear key tecla amarilla, introduzca 107 y mantenga presionada la tecla clear stop tecla naranja, mas de tres segundos hasta que el tablero cambie a sertvicio, apague y encienda el interruptor principal y listo...

SC 863 is a startup without HD data lead data stored on the hard disk is not read correctly. or a bad sector occurred during operation of the HD this can be reset by turning the operating panel and main switch of then on again.
