I always just put it on low and put it on over night that way the meat gets cooked all the way thru!!! My meat is always really tender and it falls apart when you try to pick it up with a fork. I guess that is really tender meat!!! Let me know if this helps you or not!!!

check the internet for a copy of the manual. Put in the search engine rival crock pot and look till you find a free manual then you can down load it and print.

At least four hours. All day will make it tenderer and more flavoursome, but turn it to low when it starts to bubble.

The difference is the time and how warm it cooks. Low cooks a slow, lower heat - cooks 6-8 hours. And High is a faster cook at 4-6 hours. I tend to use low for stews and chilis.
