Testimonial: "Ive had it apart 2 times now. Blew the thing out good with air. Needle looks good. Float is all plastic, seems to be in fine shape. No adjustment on the float at all. Got to be something some place but just haven't hit on it yet"

Drain fuel tank. Fill with fresh and add the correct amount of the correct oil.

Excess pressure crank case

Either the crankcase breather is blocked or the engine is badly worn, make sure the engine is not over filled with oil.

Describe your 20 Hp 42"

The float an needle are stuck open causing the fuel to drain from the tank or be pumped by the fuel pump into the carburetor bowl, filling it and flooding the engine and filling up the air cleaner. You may even find that it has gone into the crank case sump contaminating the oil. Do not run until you have repaired the carburetor and changed the oil and if air filter got contaminated, that changed too.

I hope this is helpful for you.

13.5 OHV B&S won't stay running, blows gas out carb.

Check to see if the oil is over filled. check if the oil smells like gas, could be a gas leak into the crank case.
More than likely the head gasket is blown internally, causing excessive crank case pressure

Poulan 6.75 Lawn mower will not start

Remove spark plug, clean and dry. Replace plug. Remove air filter. Spray WD-40 into carb opening; one second blast. Turn over engine, (pull handle). Engine should start briefly and run for 3 seconds.  If not, you are not getting spark to spark plug. If engine starts, you have a dirty carb and you can buy a rebuild kit from manufacture.

Do four cicle engines need oil fuel misture

Hi. no oil is needed except in the oil tank. there is a separate oil fill point that you can use for the crank case oil section. no need to mix with fuel on the 4 cycle motor. Oil and gas are separate in this situation.
