SOURCE: TV will not power on, strange arcing and poping noise from rear

Even though the Lamp looks good it does not mean that it is. The only way to know is to relace it. If you have already replaced it with a Mitsubishi Lamp Assy. then the Ballast board would probably be the cause.
Hope this helps,

Why mitsubishi dlp wont work

I have had a similar problem and it has always been the bulb. If that doesn't fix it, then the ballast. Most likely your bulb is on the way out.

I installed a new lamp and the tv is still blinking saying the lamp is bad. There is no picture.

its most likely the ballast which is causing the issue. The ballast is what provides the power source to light the lamp. You can get the ballast at www.tvrepairworld.com and they can provide instructions on how to replace the ballast

Wont come on clicking sound from rear

The clicking sound would have to be either the mechanical relay in the power circuit or it is possible it is coming from the Ballast unit.

Someone would have to open and try to listen to see what area it is coming from.

Ballast board repair

If ballast is bad it should be available--to my knowledge they do not get rebuilt or exchanged.

GOOGLE by model number for "Ballast" for price etc.
